Color Standards for Lighting
There is a great deal of cross talk on the subject of what whote light is in the architectural environment. Many SSL providers have confused this by using common names in improper ways. The following is a summary of whie light color standards and descriptions to be used on this blog. Comments to this blog that stray from this will be corrected before being accepted and posted here.
Incandescent White – 2,700k
Halogen White – 2,850k
Warm White – 3,000k
Neutral White – 3,500k
Cool White – 4,100k
Design/Graphics White – 5,000k
Daylight White – 5,500k
